The B&B
The B&B offers its guests different solutions:
• la camera doppia Celine
• la camera singola Gaia
• la camera familiare Sonia
Each room has an en suite bathroom, an independent entrance and a direct exit to the garden. The Celine room also offers an equipped kitchenette. Breakfast is currently offered at Caffè della Penna.
Of course, the colorful flower garden is our highlight. Indeed, in the outdoor relaxation area, equipped with chairs and tables, you can relax, read a good book, chat with other guests or let your children have fun in complete freedom.
The Al giardino di Alice Bed and Breakfast is located in a characteristic street in the center of Perugia. The name of the B&B comes from a curious and repeated expression used mainly by passing postmen who, seeing our house for the first time, and not even remotely imagining that among the narrow alleys of the historic center he could hide a verdant hidden garden, they exclaimed: “But it is the garden of wonders!”. Soon our thoughts turned to the well-known fable, Alice in Wonderland, and thus Alice's Garden was born.

Where we are
We are right in the historic centre, in the heart of Perugia, a few steps from the well-known Rocca Paolina and from Corso Vannucci, easily reachable thanks to the panoramic lift. A few steps away you will also find the minimetrò, convenient means of transport to visit the center and the first suburbs of Perugia, beyond than to connect directly with the Fontivegge train station.
Visiting the city on foot starting from our B&B is an easy and fun solution.
How to reach us
By car: exit the SS E45 San Faustino, in the direction of the historic centre, reach Via 14 Settembre, at number 61, turn left into Via Solitaria (restricted traffic area open from 1.00pm).
By train: from the Fontivegge railway station take the Minimetrò towards the Centre, exit Pincetto, the B&B is located a few meters to the right of the exit.
By bus: buses from Rome, Rome Fiumicino and other locations arrive at Piazza Partigiani at the Bus Terminal. From Piazza Partigiani the Bed and Breakfast is a 5-minute walk away, in Via Solitaria. Otherwise, you can use line 193 and get off at Via 14 Settembre.
By metro: from the railway station in the direction of Centro, exit Pincetto. From here they are only a few meters away from the B&B Al Giardino di Alice.
By plane: the closest airport is Umbria Airport “S . Francis of Assisi".
Where to park
The B&B Al Giardino di Alice is inside the ZTL.
We have our private parking upon request 150 meters outside the ZTL area, very convenient for going out from the city.
Alternatively, there are free parking spaces in Via Ripa di Meana (with easy ascent up Corso Cavour, near the B&B) and, just one hundred meters away, is the Garage Galleria and the Saba Ripa di Meana parking for a fee.
From 13:00 until 24:00 the ZTL is inactive, therefore in those hours you can arrive by car up to the entrance of the B&B. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays the ZTL is inactive from 7:00 to 24:00. For more information, you can visit the site of the Municipality of Perugia.
If you don't need the car, it can be left at the great free parking in Pian di Massiano. Then take the minimetrò towards the center to the Pincetto stop.
What to visit
Umbria is rich in cities of great cultural importance, unmissable destinations that can be reached in a short time by staying at Il Giardino di Alice B&B. Some of these are Città di Castello (50km), Gubbio (45km), Assisi (30km), Foligno (45km), Spoleto (70km), Deruta (20km), Todi (35km).
At about 20km there is also Lago Trasimeno, the largest lake in central Italy.

La signora Donatella è veramente simpatica cortese e disponibile per tutte le informazioni.
